turbulent jet impinging on edge.

Has anyone simulated a turbulent jet impining on to an edge. i have tried to attach a image of the type of geometry. Basically there is a jet that forms from fully developed pipe flow that expands into the atmostphere. A few inches below the exit of the pipe is a wall. The wall has a slight bevel (kind of like a knife) and the edge of the bevel is centered below the pipe. I am having convergence issues with this simulation. Has anyone had problems with this? I am running fluent, but I am wondering if there are turbulence model issues that I am not including. The turbulence model I am running is reynolds stress model with quadratic pressure strain assumption. The mesh is 2D. Thanks,
Casey
