Time step sizing for 3D sliding mesh problem
Hi all,
I am running a turbomachinery problem (stator-rotor-stator) in 3D with an unsteady sine wave input. I am currently investigating time step size and its effect on my solution. At a rotational speed of 300rpm a time step of 0.01 seems to be good. My question is when i go to higher speeds, say 600rpm, do i keep the same time step (0.01s) or do i have to keep the same degree of rotation per time step (i've seen this mentioned in a paper) which would be 0.05 deg rotation per time step?? better again, does anyone have literature on this??? Thanks in advance. |
