Are you looking for a proprietary solution like those you name or a more open one with low software costs but high installation costs? I am asking because I have some interest in the subject (although my jargon is different) but without knowing details of how your group works I would suggest a degree of suspicion of those proposing work flow solutions may be appropriate.
