Hi

In a fluid flow problem using k-e turb. model I get good convergence however my drag & force results are very large as compared to experiment. I have checked the grid scaling and corrected but still have large difference. Is there any other parameter(s) feed which I have missed? I will be obliged if any one can guide me through this.

Thanks in advance

Check your wall y+, bring it to range of 30-60.

check the reference values u have set, are they set properly, if they are not set to correct values, you might see arbit results.

Though y+ adaptation is not prefered, try it. Be careful y+ is based on Cell Centre Distance from wall, not distance of first grid point on the wall. Goto "Resource" section then "Calc" then "Misc". There is a viscous spacing calculator. Give good aprox. values for air foil. Make you near wallmesh based on it (double the value you get)

Sirs,

Actually I did't get solution converged.I'm not sure about the meshing. Is anything impotant for mesh consideration?

Thank you very much.
