Hello Guys,

Im new to the world of CFD. Can anyone please tell me what are "second order moments" ? I need to plot transient averages of these to know if my LES simulations have reached a statistically steady state. Thank you.

I'm no expert on this, but aren't correlations of two turb. quantities called second order moments? sth like w*v or v*u ....sth like w*v*u would be third order moments...
