how to implement periodic boundary conditions?

Hi

I would like to implement periodic boundary conditions to model open channel flow in an existing code which only has inflow and outflow BC. It's a finite volume code with a staggered grid. Time discretisation is by forward Euler. Solution through a Poisson eq for the pressure. How should I deal with this?

I am using the periodic TDMA developed by Prof. Patankar. If you want to test it, please post here. I will give you that subroutine.

Good luck,

Hi, Halim, would you please also send me a copy of the code for periodic TDMA? Thanks a lot.

Hi Halim, I am also having similar problem. Can you please provide the TDMA solver by Patankar to me also?

Re: how to implement periodic boundary conditions?

not the TDMA solver but Cylic TDMA solver.
