Hi,

I'm trying to add an option to my DNS code to maintain a constant mass flow rate through a channel (in a periodic turbulent channel flow), my code is a compressible solver and I'm looking for some reference papers about keeping a constant mass flow rate, surprisingly in all of the papers (at least those which I have seen) details have not been mentioned. I know this should be quite simple and probably everybody knows how to do it, but are you guys aware of any reference which explains this in detail? or can you please give me a detailed explanation of this? even a reference about incompressible methods is helpful!

Thanks a lot!
