Hi guys,
I am not sure if it is okay to post this question here. I am trying to solve a sparse matrix using GMRES that comes along with Intel Fortran. Somehow after a few hundred iterations there is no difference in the residual and it stayed that way as the number of iterations increased. The matrix can be solved easily with direct solvers such as PARDISO or the standard Gauss elimination. No preconditioning is used yet. Does anyone knows why this is happening? Thanks. Sincerely, EH |
