HI All,
I am new to CFD modeling in ANSYS and i need some suggestions.

HI ALL,
Anyone please suggest that if it is possible to model a molten droplet of metal at high temp say 2700 C hitting a slolid metal surface at some temp say 500C. this molten droplet solidifes and there lies an interface between the two. i have to model the heat transfer of this interface with its corresponding thickness along the surface.I have question regarding this;

is it necessary to define domain interface between fluid and solid domains or there is any other option available in new ansys 13 to calculate automatically, the interface properties e.g.( thermal contact resistance, htc/ pressure or temp gradient)??

Thanks
