Building a GPU architecture for CFD

Hi all,
I would like to ask for directions on how to build a GPU architecture for CFD simulations. Let's look at it as a client/consultant problem. I'm the client and I'm asking for: (1) What hardware is there available? (I've read about CUDA fom nVIDIA) (2) What software to manage the parallel jobs? (I guess I'm asking for something like Metis-MPI) (3) Which solvers are mature enough to handle this technology? (ANSYS FLUENT/CFD, OpenFOAM, NUMECA, ...) (4) Could you explain what steps to follow to have a GPU system working for CFD? Thanks!!! |
