I solve Navier Stokes with periodic boundary conditions using FEM in order to simulate the film flow in a sinusoidal wall. The frontal solver is very slow. Also i cant use a dense mesh. Does anyone know any appropriate solver for my case? Thank u!

Are you dealing with blood flow through arteries? Biofluid Dynamics Applications are given an excellent review in the book by Kleinstreuer (Engineering Fluid Dynamics- An Interdisciplinary Systems Approach) published by Cambridge. They have used CFDS_FLOW3D Hope that will help

Hi

Try going to multi physics solver (mulphysics) page, they have used FVM solver for moving boundary cases. Link I have written some where, will provide you latter.

visit this site of Dr. A. Smirov, goto multiphysics, you may get required information.

Good Luck
