International Masters in Turbulence program

Dear all,

I am interested in applying to Chalmers University for International Masters in Turbulence program. I would be very grateful if any one can answer my queries.

1. How recognized is the program internationally? 2. How many of the enrolled students get an industrial internship ? 3. What is the job scene for international students after masters ? 4. What kind of part time jobs are available during the course work ? 5. Are there any scholarships available for international students ?

With Thanks

Re: International Masters in Turbulence program

Hi,

I am pavitran, still studying turbulence at chalmers.

1.The programme is just excellent.

2.I am from 2004-05 batch. we were 20 in the batch and out of those 5 were indians and i am one among them.

Almost evry one got industrial internship. We 5 indians got thesis work at

Volvo cars vattenfall ABB Swedish National testing and research institute(i am doing this thesis)

We are being paid around (25000 swedish krones) for 5 months of project work.

And almost evry one is getting phd. I got phd in spain and many got in various countries

3. I guess by the above info u got, u can imagine the job oppurtunities we have.

4.Don't think of doing part time jobs , if u want to do turbulence programme , bcoz the course is tough and also any how we will get industrial thesis.

5. Last year there were no scholarships given to turbulence students. I dont know whether they will give in future or not.

I hope that u got answers for all ur queries.

Dont hesistate to contact me if u have any further queries.
