hi, Can anyone comment in any relation between computational time step (e.g., used in Fluent in the form of CFL etc) and real life time step. Can we relate them in any sense? Regards, S Khan

I may have misunderstood your question. But in real life the time and space are continuos, and there isn't such thing as real life time step, as there isn't real life mesh.

When you compare the computational time and real time, you need to go back the definition of nondimensional time used in the computation.
