Help on the initial condition for compressible LES -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Hall Guest Posts: n/a	Hi, all Can somebody give me some suggestions on how to set the initial condition for compressible LES? For incompressible flow, I know we need to let the velocity satisfying the divergence free condition. but how to deal with compressible case? Can I still use the incompressible initial condition pluse some random noise? Thank you guys very much!
