Saving the Human Manikin in igs format

I have a Human model developed in Catia but further analysis, I need it in "igs" format. But when I "saved as" the file in igs, it opens back as an empty file.
Glad if i could get a reply soon. |

when you saveas igs format a supporting file is made along with the igs file make sure you have them together.
