SIMPLE and SIMPLER code
 

I just started a project on CFD and was keen to write some cfd code to get the real feel. Can anyone out there tip me where I can find the source code for SIMPLE / SIMPLER scheme (preferably on fortran) so that I can get & proceed from it.

try Ferziger . Peric, Computational Methods for Fluid Dynamics book, and see the index and it tells you how you could get acess to the source codes server site. best wish

I was also talking about the Peric codes. I have, however, not read the codes by Peric. So, if you don't find SIMPLE and SIMPLER in those codes then I'll send you subroutine, which uses SIMPLER.

Dear Vinod, thanKyou for the response. Actually I am novice to the CFD. Patankar's book was fascinating to me and that was how I get to get hold of the need to the code SIMPLER, the book which I well understood right now. Going through the Peric code is what I am struggling at the present, but I really need purely Simpler codes at this point of time. In the Peric code it doesnt actually use SIMPLER, I think; but I found it mentioning it as similar to SIMPLER. So I woluld really appreciate it very much if you can send me of yours.
