Hi, every one,
I'm working on vof. In some papers, semi-implicit scheme (Crank-Nicolson scheme) was applied for temporal evolution, like in HRIC-related paper or FLUENT. Are there anybody have experientces on it - How can I estimate the VOF flux on the cell surface at time level "n+1"? Thank you very much. |

You could try to get a predicted VOF field at n+1 using and Adams Bashforth method. I do similar work and for now have just been using the current VOF for the n+1 VOF when solving the NS equations in the semi implicit (Adams Bashforth-Crank Nicholsen) form.
The prediction part can be iffy near the interface though if you are experiencing spurious currents. |
