Wave Making Resistance on Catamaran
 

Hi everyOne

Can anybody give me some good refrences about simulation of wave making resistance, especially on catamaran? I'm a newbie, so I don't even know how to start it and what software I supposed to use, but I wanna learn and have to do so, since that's for my final project assigment. Hope anyone could give me some help.

Search for reports by Molland Couser and Wellicome at the University of Southampton.

There is a free program called "Michlet" which calculates the wave resistance and wave patterns of multihulls.

Search for reports and papers by Tuck Scullen and Lazauskas.
And for papers by Doctors and Day.

Thanks for ur answer, but could you please tell me which reports I should read from http://ittc.sname.org/proceedings.htm , since there are so many of them, I don't really sure I could search them all thoroughly

And about the software, could you give me any other suggestions if I'm about to use Ansys CFX since I already had that software.
