Is there any general way to model the annular flow in a pipe?

Does anyone can give me some hint?

You mean using 2D-axisymmetric coordinates? You can solve for the third momentum equation, but taking into consideration that the annular pressure gradient is zero.

Can you give me some more details?

First is the axial velocity, second the radial and third the angular velocity. In axisymmetric flows the third is considered to be zero o just its pressure gradient to be zero.

I found toroidal coordinate being used for annular curved pipe.
In that article there were some references for annular pipe itself
This is the name of article.look for it in science direct
a numerical analysis of developing flow and heat transfer in a curved annular pipe

I don't if this will help or not.

But, a good way to model is to separate the annular flow in 2 models: the core, and the film. You can run the film model and use its variables in the core model.
