can i perfrom a parrale computation with intel P4 with "HT"

technology,since "HT" is equivelaent to two cpu!

Yes, its possible to do. Even u can connect other PC in the grid network and can do parallel computing....

Strictly speaking hyper-threading is not equivalent to two cpus. It will show up as two cpus under linux "top" or in the task manager for windows, but the best speedup you will get will be about 10-15%. Still, it's a free performance gain and every little bit helps.
