Is central scheme stable for stokes flow limit ?
Central schemes are known to lead to odd-even decoupling. Does this happen in the Stokes flow limit as well ? There are no convection terms in this limits, only viscous terms.
Odd-even decoupling occurs due to the fact that equations for u and p at a given point do not affect each other in central schemes for Euler equations. This isn't true when viscous terms are significant.
