Duct exposed to atmospheric conditions

Hello guys.
I'm sorry, i know this is a silly question, but i'm very new to CFX and CFD in general. I need some advice in thes particular problem. I'm doing a project for my university and and have to simulate an air flow going perpendicular to a duct, cooling it. I've already created the duct and it's mesh. My problem is: i know that i have to create a domain much larger than the duct where i'll insert the boundaries (like the velocity of the wind in the outlet, for example). I can't figure out how to create this domain: do I create a perpendicular plane using the geometry function or do i do it using the CFX mesh tool? If so, how do I do it? (I'm trying to do something like the example in the attached picture)
Again, sorry for the silly question and thank you for your attention

You need help in ansys meshing (anays meshing, gambit, icem or tgrid)
