meshing a geometry
 
i want to know that during meshing a geometry, we just do the volume meshing only or we have to mesh the walls of geometry also.

Also the walls. Some programs show only the face mesh (or walls mesh as you name it) but just for quick display in order to take decisions where it should be refined more. But, when the solving begins the full mesh is being generated (volume and surface).
