Hi...
I have a circular bounded geometry(dimensions of order of cm) with multiple layers of holes inside it. I have to mesh it in ICEM CFD upto around 3 million mesh size and with good quality. My guide told me to take a 20 deg sector of it,mesh it and rotate it as it is complex and time consuming. I have tried by doing blocking the geometry and making hexamesh...the mesh is getting rotated but its giving very high aspect ratio at all the holes...I was not able to correct it. So i tried with octree grid using tetra mesh(using compute volume mesh)...but this when imported to fluent,is giving errors and is not getting rotated. So can anyone suggest me which method and type of mesh is better for my case and tell me step by step procedure to do the same... |
