I need an suggestion as in which CFD software I should prefer. I have built a 3D model of a Steel Structure ( Solar Module mounting structure) in Solidworks premium 2011. Now, I would like to conduct CFD analysis on this. I don't have any Flow simulation software licence. Please suggest which software should I use.

PS: Meshing could be done in Solidworks Simulation itself.

Hi,

Is it for academic purposes? In that case licensing should not be a problem as ANSYS and NUMECA are offering a free student version.

Best regards,
