problem license manager
 

hey guys,

i've some problems with the installation of fine/turbo.

i used lmtools to install a license server with the license-file, i received from numeca.

but always the same error:

This license cannot be checked out because:
Cannot connect to license server
"telnet" port (23) on node ChristophPC does not respond
->if ChristophPC is a Unix system, it's probably down

btw: i use win8 and run fine/turbo on my local machine as admin. it's a floating license.

any idea?!

NUMECA software has yet tested in Win 8 for the moment and there is no guarantee provided will work in Win 8. If you don't mind, do remain at Win 7 until we have tested it. Thank you.
