Hi everyone,
I'm currently an engineering student new to CFD. Our professor had given us the student version of NUMECA to play around with. It comes with already-built dom files, but no specific tutorial. Is there any step-by-step tutorial or examples that can help me get familiar with the program? |

You may find the tutorials in the documentation archive provided with the installation files. Maybe this archive with the manuals has not yet been provided to you?
If you have the .dom files, I guess you have already the tutorials archive (that contains the input files for the tutorials in the documentation archive). All you need from your professor is the documentation archive in addition. Best regards, Colinda |

Hi,
*.dom file must be created in hexpress module. this module imports your CAD model with different formats and makes an approximate domain file out of it. depending the settings done by user the accuracy of the approximate model can be increased. the output of this approximation process is a *.dom file which is then used for meshing process.
