Dummy Cells/conjugate heat transfer

I have just started using FINE and I have a little problem. I made a grid in gridpro that has no negative cells. I am trying to run conjugate heat transfer for the solid blade. I always am getting a runtime error and when I check the log it says that a bunch of domains have dummy cells with negative volume. I have run out of ideas for what parameters to change so that it will run.

Any advice is much appreciated,

Eric

Re: Dummy Cells/conjugate heat transfer

Dear Eric, Such messages on negative dummy cells in the .log file may occure without any harm for the computation, for example at a highly curved block boundary. Indeed the verification of negative cells in Gridpro does not include any dummy cells which are constructed by the flow solver.

More important remains the question what could be the source of the runtime error. Possibly the end of the .std file can give more information on where to search?

In the next release FINE 8 the conjugate heat transfer module is revised completely with many more capabilities and improved accuracy.
