I want to know, which type of boundary conditions should be given to rotating machines case? (turbomachine). I want to simulate a cooling fan, and I want to predict performance curve then which type of boundary conditions should I chose?

Dear rohit What kine of cooling fan you want to simulate?

In our laboratory, we use FINE/TURBO to simulate the performance of CPU fans.

You can set the boundary conditions Inlet: mass flow Outlet: static perssure

I hope this can solve your problem

Best regards,

Lily

I think you should define the boundary conditions like this: Inlet:Total temperature and total pressure Outlet:Massflow and static pressure(reference) Periodic Solid:rotation speed rot

Further more,i think The injector shuold also be defined
