Hi,

I am trying to convert a fluent .msh file to an OpenFOAM mesh. The mesh is for an entire aircraft and has around 40 million cells. When i run the conversion I get two errors:

*** glibc detected *** fluent3DMeshToFoam: double free or corruption (out): 0x00
0000007c8d9860 ***

*** glibc detected *** fluent3DMeshToFoam: free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x0

I have had a chat with some people at uni who seem to think it looks like a memory problem with the program. I dont know a lot about programming and not sure what the error could be.

Any ideas?

Thanks very much for any help.

Ryan

This is when it destroys any static objects. (this is after the program has finished) Usually happens if you link in extra copies of source files containing a debug symbol. I just tried and do not have this problem with the stock 1.4.1.

The file will have been correctly converted by the time this error happens.
