I have been working with a custom solver for a few months now in 1.3, and recently decided to make the switch to 1.4 so that I can take advantage of the parallel processing capabilities on the cluster where I am doing my research.

I've recompiled the solver and set up the appropriate case files, but each time I try to run the solver via. openFoam 1.4, I get the following error:

phaseFieldFoam: symbol lookup error: phaseFieldFoam: undefined symbol: _ZTIN4Foam19lduCoupledInterfaceE

where phaseFieldFoam is the name of the solver.

I would appreciate any input you might provide on the source of the error.

It looks like you haven't recompiled for version 1.4 everything your solver needs. Use wclean and wmake on all components of your solver including any custom libraries your solver needs.
