There is some mess-up in the definition of yplus in all OpenFOAM versions out there.
The utility yPlusRAS:
  • calculates a value that is generally called ySTAR
  • it only works with high-Re models (at least up to version 1.5, there has been some fixing in 1.6.x.)
I propose: Rename yPlusRAS to yStarRAS and create a utility that calculates yPlus according to the general definition:

Hi

Has anyone fixed this bug yet ? I checked the posts. Someone posted a solution. How can I be sure it is correct ?
