good morning.

I'm configuring my laptop and I'll make an dual boot with win7 (work) and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I'll try open foam with Helyx-OS GUI. Witch version is better for me ? 64 bits or 32 bits version of Ubuntu ?

My Hardware:

Core i5-430M
4 GB DDR3 of RAM

thanks.

Since the HelyxOS release on sourceforge is already compiled for 64bit, I would go for 64 unless you want to recompile HelyxOS in 32 bit. You may want to look at

Helyx-OS (GUI for SnappyHexMesh

Good luck.
