Hi everybody,

I just tried to install ccm26ToFoam on my OpenFoam 2.1.1 (installed it via apt-get) but I cannot find the required "ThirdParty-XXX" folder in /opt... I also get an error message "Can't open tools/makeThirdPartyFunctions" when I try to start the "AllwmakeLibccmio" file. Does anybody have an idea what to do??

Thanks!

Greetings kornickel,

Check this page, namely the chapter "Installation": http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Cc...m#Installation

Best regards,

Hi Bruno,

thanks for your reply! I tried to install ccm26ToFoam it as they show on this thread but they say that I need to install it in the ThirdParty folder. And I don't have any Thirdparty folder since I installed Openfoam as it is shown on the OpenFOAM website via "apt-get install openfoam211". And creating a ThirdParty folder manually doesn't work either...

Regards,

kornickel

Hi kornickel,

Try the instructions on this post: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post429003 post #51
It's meant for OpenFOAM 2.2, but it should work just fine on OpenFOAM 2.1 as well!

Best regards,
Bruno
