Be more specific. Post a fragment of the log file with error. OpenSUSE 13.1 here and OpenFOAM and paraview compilation process was successful. |
since it's my first time using linux and OpenFOAM, I don't know how to find the file, later I'll show some detailed information, thank you for replying. Can I post process the result calculated by OpenFOAM without Paraview?

Also on OpenSUSE 13.1 you can install paraview 4.0.1 from standard repository with zypper, it has built-in OpenFOAM reader. |

You can't use Tecplot directly - http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Tecplot.
But, I guess, it'll be easier to find that "some file" and build paraview. |
Greetings to all!
Instructions for building OpenFOAM 2.3.0 and ParaView 4.1.0 on openSUSE 13.1 have been available on the wiki for some time now: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...2.3.0/openSUSE As for the wiki page about Teplot: it's outdated. The latest Tecplot versions are able to mostly handle OpenFOAM cases, although from what I've read on the forum, it's not yet full-proof. Best regards, Bruno |
