mpfr-devel - Development files for the GNU multiple-precision floating-point library
libmpfr4 - The GNU multiple-precision floating-point shared library

it was the source description. But looking at it a again it doesnt actually tell you to run ./Allwmake

Ah, many thanks for clearing that up! I've been so focused on writing the installation wiki pages (e.g. http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...2.3.1/openSUSE ), that I forgot to report my findings on the bug tracker

OK, I'll do a clean build as soon as I can, since there are a few more packages on the wiki that might not be extremely necessary for the base instructions on the official page: http://www.openfoam.org/download/source.php
