Greetings Everyone,
I am using Ubuntu 14.1 and OpenFOAM 2.3.0; I downloaded swak4Foam from the following link: https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...am/Downloading this is fine and try to compile it, gives this error: Previously compiled for OpenFOAM 2.3.0 No file 'swakConfiguration'. Python etc won't work. See README for details Checking swak4Foam-version and generating file ./Allwmake: line 55: ./maintainanceScripts/makeSwakVersionFile.py: Permission denied /home/toml/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.3.0/wmake/wmake: 181: /home/toml/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.3.0/wmake/wmake: ./Allwmake: Permission denied Requirements for Library not satisfied. I see no sense in going on Check the README before you go on to ask. And search: Most likely your problem occured to 5 other people before and has been solved on the MessageBoard Anyone could help me fix this problem? Please. Thanks in advance. Tom |

Hi,
did you read https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...ling_On/Ubuntu =>No file 'swakConfiguration'. Python etc won't work. See README for details https://github.com/Unofficial-Extend.../master/README *** Additional configurationSome features (currently only the =Python=-integration may needthird party software. The paths to these packages can be configuredin a file =swakConfiguration= (an example file=swakConfiguration.example= is provided). If that file is notpresent these unconfigured features will not be compiled. =>Permission denied have a look "ls -l" at the permission you know how to use the linux "chmod" command? |
