Hello everyone,
I am trying to install both OpenFOAM and foam-extend on a virtual machine running Ubuntu 19.04 (host Windows 7, VirtualBox) following these instructions: https://pingpong.chalmers.se/public/...o?item=4764601

Everything went smoothly for OpenFOAM, but I have found a lot of issues for foam-extend, i.e. Allwmake reports several errors and cavity tutorial fails to run.

I tried to follow the instructions on the wiki (http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...end-4.0/Ubuntu, for Ubuntu 18.04) but, again, Allwmake reports about 1000 errors. Moreover, the dependencies gcc-5 g++-5 are not retrieved by apt-get and, apparantely, they are deprecated.

I am wondering maybe if Ubuntu 19.04 is not yet supported by foam-extend. Did anyone try to install it?

Many thanks

Alessandro

Quick answer: I don't know if you've solved this issue, but if not, here's a similar thread: foam-extend-4.0 Debian Testing bison problem fseterr.c - this is because Debian Testing should be similar in versions to Ubuntu 19.04.
