Hello,

I am trying to install ParaView3.3 as per the latest instructions.
When I launch the "buildParaView3.3-cvs" command I get the following errors:
"CMake Error: Qt 4.3.0 or greater not found. Please check the QT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE variable"
then a little later on I get
"Qt was not found"

Now I have downloaded the qt version 4.3.1 source code ( I am running SUSE10.3) and have installed it. Seemingly without problems.
it now resides in /usr/local/Trolltech/

My question is:

How do I check to make sure the qt installation was genuinely succesful?

Why can't cmake find it?

where do I find this QT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE to point it to the right place
