Hi,

Am I definitely at odds with openfoam ? When I try to set boundary conditions, the only choise I have for 'wall' is 'wallfunctions'. The only one I have for 'inlet' is 'pressureInlet', and so on, whereas I am sure I had in the past 'adiabaticWall', 'turbulentInlet', ....

The thing is, I can't even set it in the boundary file or I got :

Invalid boundary type name 'adiabaticWall'

What's the pb, according to you ?

Regards.

Hi Bloblo!

You're taking about seeting the BCs in FoamX, right?

'adiabaticWall', 'turbulentInlet' etc are "only" the physicalTypes, which are
a) only used by FoamX
b) depend on the solver your project is under
So if you have an isothermal solver like icoFoam you won't get the boundaryCondition 'adiabaticWall', (because it doesn't make sense)
