I did a forum search and found no threads relating to ATI's CrossFireX Physics processing capabilities. With the new cards, you could realistically use 8 128bit cores with 4GB of DDR4 RAM.
We had a discussion on F1Technical.net forum about using the Crossfire to do CFD. Has anyone tried to get it to work, and if it has been done, what were the findings?
And if no one HAS done it yet, what would the Pros and Cons be concerning adaptation of OpenFOAM to use the CrossFire Physics ability to do the processing.
Thank you for your time and understanding concerning this matter. After speculating on the other board, I wanted to get it from the people that know best.
