Hello all,

I'm trying to get a 3D CFD software package that can do a quick simulation for a feasibility study of a concept. For the beginning phase, I just need to be able to put some simple 3D objects in and simulate fluid flow around them. I downloaded OpenFOAM a couple of days ago, but I ran into some snags with the installation (I couldn't tell you exactly what they were) and got sidetracked on another software package. Now I'm wanting to start fresh and remove everything that I might installed. Is there an easy way to do this, perhaps as simple as deleting the folder or running a script? Also, from the description I gave, would you recommend OpenFOAM or perhaps Featflow or another 3D CFD package for my feasibility study?

Thanks for any help/advice you can give

Try: cd ~/OpenFOAM rm -r

Try:

cd ~/OpenFOAM
rm -rf OpenFOAM-1.4
rm -rf linux
cd
rm -rf ~/.OpemFOAM-1.4

There are no hidden packages.

Enjoy,

Hrv

I had a similar issue. I'm just curious, what is rm linux? What are you removing?
