Hi all,
I downloaded all the requisite files and installed them as per the instructions in the README file. The FoamInstallationTest was succesful. However, when i tried running the tutorial cases by typing in FoamX, i get the following error

/home/preetham/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.2/bin/runFoamXHB: line 122: nsd: command not found

Moreover, when i type in the command blockMesh . cavity, I get the following error:

blockMesh: error while loading shared libraries: libmeshTools.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

the results of running the foamInstallation check is shown below:

Executing ./foamInstallationTest:

do

ldd `which blockMesh`

to see which libraries are missing. Check the $FOAM_LIBBIN directory and see what is in there. (libmeshTools.so should be there).

Maybe you haven't unpacked the binary pack (OpenFOAM-1.2.linuxGcc4Opt_XXX.tgz) or it didn't complete? (since you do seem to have the icoFoam executable)

Hello,
I'm also getting the same error. I checked the availability of libmeshTools.so at $FOAM_LIBBIN, its there. I did a chmod 666, but in vain. May be I need to chek the paths. Please advice.
Thanks in advance.
