Has somebody already tried to compile and run OpenFOAM on an IBM machine with
AIX 5.2 and default compiler (version 6.0 as far as I know)? Do I have to expect larger problems or will it work (nearly) without modifications? tia -marcus |

I think you can expect problems. Best thing is to install Linux on it ;-) Or if not possible install every single GNU binutil (ld, as, gcc, flex, make etc) and hope for the best.

Unfortunatly I'm only an ordinary user on this machine. In so far Linux
