Can I use the lam/mpi package

Can I use the lam/mpi package downloaded from OpenCFD when I developing my own parallel code? I am too lazy to downlaod the source code from www.lam-mpi.org and re-install the whole package again;)

But I can not find the lam/mpi library. When I test an example code, here is the erro message I got,

[hsing@localhost hello]$ mpic++ cxxhello.cc -I/home/hsing/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.1/src/lam-7.1.1/platforms/linuxAMD64Opt/includ e -lm
cxxhello.cc: In function `int main(int, char**)':
cxxhello.cc:28: error: `MPI' has not been declared
cxxhello.cc:28: error: `Init' undeclared (first use this function)
cxxhello.cc:28: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in.)
cxxhello.cc:30: error: `MPI' has not been declared
cxxhello.cc:30: error: `COMM_WORLD' undeclared (first use this function)
cxxhello.cc:31: error: `MPI' has not been declared
cxxhello.cc:35: error: `MPI' has not been declared
cxxhello.cc:35: error: `Finalize' undeclared (first use this function)
mpic++: No such file or directory

Does anyone know where should I set the library directory for mpicxx?
