Is that directory opt/openfoam171/applications/utilities/preProcessing/ under SVN control like ther output suggests?

I don't even know what is SVN control, when I run make install I think it automatically going under that control. To make sure I restarted the computer and tried it but still got the same error message.

Which version did you download and how?

If your question is regarding the swak4Foam. I downloaded it using the command given in
http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Co...am#Downloading

I have only one user account in my Ubuntu.

Thank you
Sorry for the late answer.

If you downloaded it with the SVN-command then it is under SVN control and I realized that this breaks the inclusion of SFO via SVN. I added a external reference to that lib in the svn tree (don't worry what that means). Try "svn update" iin the swak-Sources. This should pull the simpleFunctionObjects into the source tree and everything should be fine. If that doesn't work try downloading the swak-Stuff completely anew with the command you used originally

Hi Bernhard,

I uninstalled Ubuntu from my computer and installed fedora. I installed the OpenFOAM source pack. Swak4foam also installed without many troubles.

Thank you

Quick questions:
  1. Which Linux Distribution are you using?
  2. What installation instructions for OpenFOAM 1.6 did you follow?
  3. Why are you trying to use OpenFOAM 1.6?
