Error in ThirdParty compilation of OpenFoam-16-ext...rpm:command not found

I trying to compile OpenFoam-1.6-ext with ubuntu-10.04 but when i try to run ./AllMake in thirdparty it start printing the following:

tools/makeThirdPartyFunctionsForRPM: line 34: rpm: command not found

Kindly suggest the remedy for this!!! i have searched the forum but could not get same error reported by others. i feel some new package i have t install???

You need the rpm package, but there's other related discussion here.
