centFOAM 5.x and 6.x up

I've upgraded my centFOAM script and files to include compiled versions for RHEL family 6.x releases.

The centFOAM.py script automatically detects the version you are using and download the appropriate files.

There are some small changes coming which has to do with the file permissions of the meshing software.

Expect to have them ironed out tomorrow.

Also the manual install on the wiki needs to have the links changed to fit the new folder structure.

Please use and abuse the script so I can correct any bugs.

I am trying to install OF-1.6ext on a cluster where I do not have any admin rights. I've tried the manual install instructions for Centos5.x and noticed that a precompiled Gcc-4.5.2 is included in centFoam.

Does this mean that I do not have to manually compile gcc, gcc-c++,glibc and binutils (since I can't do a yum install)?

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes you should be able to install my package as a standalone package for 5.x releases. 6.x releases I use the system GCC.

The reason why you need bin-utils and maybe system GCC etc. is that if you want to compile your own solver or some extra library then you need some of those packages. If you're fine with the built-in stuff then you should have no issues.
