WaterDynamics is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I am able to read <xyz.msh> file in openFoam, when I created mesh in Workbench Ansys 12.1.

But if i follow the same procedure using Ansys 14.0, I cant do it.

Anybody have idea why so

Amol

Greetings Amol,

Possibly because ANSYS 14 uses a more advanced format. It might be possible to export the mesh in compatibility mode or something like that.

The other possibility is that they don't like that people use their software for generating meshes that are to be used with OpenFOAM But this is just the paranoia talking

Best regards,
Bruno

vasava will become famous soon enough
I have the same issue with meshes created with Ansys 14 and Ansys 13. I have created mesh using Ansys 14 (& 13) and I can not bring it to OpenFoam.
