hi,

I want to create a rectangular cyllinder inside another rectangular cylinder and define a wall boundary on the faces of the inner cylinder. Is there any easy way to do it in blockMesh? If not please give me some examples to do it in other ways because I looked at som similar cases in snappyHexMesh but I couldn't understand how it works.

I really appreciate your help.

Dear Hale,

I have some good news for you:
it is possible in blockMesh! Just use your imagination ;-)

However to give you some detailed help it would be great
to have some more information, like a sketch, or the information
whether you want to have it in 2 or 3D.

But when you draw the problem with some cross-sections
the solution should come up to yourself as well. ;-)

edit: I just saw that your problem got solved in the preprocessing

You are absolutely right. It helps a lot when you draw the geometry and use some imagination :-D
